Gooroo is the Gooniyandi language name. This design was inspired by Freshwater mangrove trees with flowers found on the river banks in the East and West Kimberley Regions, on Gooniyandi River Country and other places and rivers in the Kimberley, Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia. Gooroo flowers come out in the cooler weather.
This range has been designed by Virginia Shaw-Butler, a Kimberley Indigenous Woman. It features native bushes, plants, and fruit that are found in East & West Kimberley.
